Meet Dr. Rachel Oringher

Dr. Rachel Oringher is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in eating disorders. She has spent the past seven years working in high levels of care - including intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, residential, and inpatient settings - and currently serves as a Clinical Supervisor at the Eating Recovery Center in Maryland.

Her work is grounded in evidence-based approaches with expertise in family-based treatment (FBT) for children, adolescents, and young adults. Dr. Oringher brings a thoughtful, structured approach to care, helping clients and families make meaningful, lasting changes in their relationship with food, body image and mental health.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Oringher has provided continuing education presentations for psychologists and other mental health professionals, reflecting her commitment to advancing evidence-based practice and professional development within the field.

She earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University and completed her clinical training at leading institutions including Sheppard Pratt and the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Rachel completed her doctoral internship at The Help Group, a renowned multidisciplinary institution known for its innovative mental health, educational, and therapeutic programs for youth and families.
