RACHEL ORINGHER, PSYD

Specialized Treatment for Eating Disorders & Mental Health Challenges

My Approach to Therapy

Providing virtual individual and family services for adolescents and adults in all 42 PsyPact participating states

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. Seeking help takes courage, and I consider it a privilege to support patients and families through some of life's most challenging experiences. As a psychologist, I take a present-focused, evidence-based approach to treatment. Whether we are addressing an eating disorder, OCD, anxiety, body image concerns, or challenges related to pregnancy and postpartum, my goal is to help patients make meaningful changes that improve quality of life.

I value authenticity, genuine warmth, and creating an environment where individuals feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. Patients have described me as approachable, easy to talk to, and nonjudgmental. At the same time, I believe effective therapy requires more than simply feeling heard; it requires a thoughtful plan for change. I strive to balance compassion with evidence-based interventions that help patients move toward recovery and lasting well-being.

Services

My practice is currently fully virtual, which gives me the flexibility to work with clients wherever they are and makes scheduling easier to fit into daily life. Virtual sessions remove the barrier of travel time and make it easier for family members to join together, even when they are in different locations. If you are unsure if I can help with what you are experiencing, I encourage you to reach out to discuss whether I may be a good fit for your needs.

Virtual therapy services are available to individuals and families in all PsyPact participating states.
